What is Mixology Candle Bar?
Mixology Candle Bar is a custom candle-pouring experience where you can create your own unique candle. Choose your vessel and favorite fragrance oils; our expert candlers will guide you through the process.
What products do you use?
At Mixology Candle Bar, we strive to use the best products and quality ingredients. Our candles are made with a soy wax blend, various fragrance oil options (chosen by you), and a cotton wick. We ensure that all of our products are phthalate-free, leaving you with a clean burn and a long burn time.
Is there a fee required to book?
We require a $25 class fee when booking to secure your seat at the reserved time. If you need to cancel, the fee is refundable up to 24 hours before your reservation. Please email hello@mixologycandlebar.com
When can I stop by to visit?
Come by and visit any of our friendly candlers when our shop is open!

Do you take reservations?
Yes, we highly recommend making a reservation to ensure availability, especially during weekends and holidays, as seating at the bar is limited. While walk-ins are welcome, we’d be delighted to accommodate you if open seats are available when you walk in.
Can I bring my own vessel?
Currently, we do not allow outside vessels for safety and quality control reasons. We offer a diverse selection of vessels for you to choose from.
Do you host private events?
Yes, we offer private events for birthdays, corporate events, bridal showers, and more. We’d love to help you celebrate with a memorable experience!

Do you sell wholesale candles?
Absolutely! We offer custom-branded scented candles, perfect for unique wedding or party favors. You can choose your signature scent and add a logo of your choice. For more information, please contact us at hello@mixologycandlebar.com.
WHAT TO EXPECT
How does the custom candle-pouring experience work?
You'll start by selecting a vessel for your candle from our wide variety of options. Next, choose your favorite fragrance oils to blend. Our expert candlers will guide you through pouring the wax and adding your chosen scents.
How long does the process take?
The process varies but typically lasts anywhere from 30-60 min. When booking a reservation you will reserve a spot at the bar for 1 hour.
Can I take my candle home right away?
Your candle will be ready to take home approximately 1 hour after pouring once it has fully set. We recommend enjoying other activities nearby like Old Town Spring shopping while waiting. However, if you’d like, we will hold your candle for up to two weeks after your reservation date.
I’m so excited to burn my new candle. Can I burn it right away?
We’re so glad you’re so excited to burn your candle! Unfortunately, like all good things in life, candles take time to cure. If you’re new here, don’t worry; we’ll teach you this concept! The cure time is the time it takes for the wax and fragrance oil to bond fully. Here at Mixology Candle Bar, we recommend waiting 7-10 days prior to burning your candle to fully allow your candle to cure so you can gain the most prominent scent possible.
Can I bring food or drinks?
At this time, we do not allow food or drinks in our facility.
Are kids allowed?
For safety reasons, children under 10 years of age are not permitted to create candles. However, children aged 10 and older are welcome to participate if accompanied by an adult.
